Been following this thread from day one, nice clean install on that airbox. Outstanding work all around, I bet you are beginning to see some light at the end of the tunnel.

Great build, keep it up. Are you concerned with rocks or other road debris with the cooler mounted there?

the light is there bit still very dim, i am hoping itis done for my local car show first week of june but i am very doubtful

Just picked up my battery went with the sears platinum group 65
930 CCA and weighs 60 lbs! will have to adjust my battery tray and add .75 inches |

great progress...stock drivers side battery tray has been modified to fit the new battery.
Trans cooler lines are finished. new fan mount is installed bringing the fan closer to center the belt is in and the remote oil filster is now located behind and center of the passenger headlight |

intercooler lines are welded and painted
transmission likage is almost complete air box is hooked up new heater and radiator lines are in fuel has been primed |

i am finally insured...Hagerty wouldnt insure me because my daily driver is not 20 y/o or newer...went with american collectors instead

well the day has come......it's alive!
keep in mind how quiet this is considering there is nothing beyond the exhaust manifold. we will now be at the exhaust shop on monday. well crap...does anyone know how to post a video...reply if you want to hear this beast fire up! |

we found a problem with the torque converter we ordered from Georand transmission. They didnt send the one we spec'd the new one runs much better and i will have a new video with that one shortly |

some more delays...the new torque converter is in and running good, was awaiting delivery of a pseed sensor for the tach and trying to find a good place to mount is difficult. we are going to remove the crankshaft pulley and replace it with a new harmonic balancer as found on the 6 cyl's....this will make it easier to adapt and it might smooth out the motor a little bit more.
anyways here are some exhaust pictures from Canby Muffler the s curve from the turbo to the end of the firewall is double flanged for easy removal in the future for maintinence or repair |

more exhaust and a new under sash gauge panel for the boost and pyro as well as some switches, fog, Overdrive, etc
and a few pics after its first bath in about 2 years |
