I noticed the shell sitting out in the yard while things were getting swapped around. Didn't go down the street last time I was in the neighborhood to see how much progress was made.

I was gonna put these big eared monsters on charlene but after taking a closer look at em, they needed too much work for me, new seals handles vent windows and not to mention it had a little cancer.

Its just im sick of the shaved doors thing, thats for the birds man. But itll have to do for now, so im just gonna keep mine and re shave em, and def put a "dirty hair" shop logo on em

i lettered these doors for a customer. Its a '63 ford f-100, this truck was built by the owner of crown customs. Its super legit.

Finally time to install a raised bed floor. Though i like to look at the frame and porterbuilt pieces....and most of all i enjoyed how easy it was to do maintenance on the rear of the truck due to the big hole i cut in the bed, i need a functional bed to haul stuff. This truck was built to be driven and put to use.

Took a trip to texas square bodies yesterday, and started fitting the bed in late last night

Yup i even put my "muchacha sucia" 2003 silverado to work. Theres a sneak peek of my "raised wood bed floor, not quit finished need to add bed bolts, and ahandle, the bed will lift up to put fuel in the fuel cell in the back under the bed

Started trimming the back corners out. Justinstalled the bed floor and fenders for some measurements. Going to raise the bed roughly 7 3/4 inched. Til the fender touched the bottom of the top rail. Super excited about this floor. I bought the 1 x 1 inch square tubing already for the frame itll sit on. Im just worried about the gas filler to the fuel cell. I didnt want a hole in the floor but thats all i can think of with out lowering the fuel cell.
Probably just gonna get an alum racing door flap from a circle track parts shop.

Thanks fellas..

So i have a camber issue that i need to fix asap. My buddy with the white 4 door c10 raised the a arm 2 inches and seemed to work. So i did it and it def worked for me. But i want to go the extra mile and narrow the front end one inch. So i had to grind away the edges of the a arm bracket so the a arm bolts directly to the base. Next i have to narrow the bottom a arm 1 inch to compensate.

Day of the dead sticker on the back window that pretty much represents the theme and color scheme of the truck

Test fitting the bed...again.

Made 5 in 1.5"x1.5" square tubing stand off that the new bed floor will sit on.

Ive came across a problem of finding a place to put the gass filler. I didnt want to just cut the bed and have a hole in it like many that ive seen.

Top is a before pic, and bottom is a after pic.

I switched the filler lids with each of my trucks..

This is off my 2003 silverado

Heres what the filler is gonna look like. I took the neck off an old c10 gas tank laying around the shop, and the od and id match up. Now i have to cut the back of the bed and make a bracket to bolt it to

I just realized that i didnt mention why i named the truck charelene. A couple of years ago i was watching full metal jacket at 4am after working on the truck. Private pile names his rifle charelene. And that was a done deal for me, the name was given
