ok here we go c1546a141197 is a Atlanta truck built in jan 1966 c1446b147154 is a Baltimore truck built late june 1966 c1546t134388 is a tarrytown built in early april 1966 c1446z100313 is a fremont truck built sept 1965 313 truck from the start probably 1st week production.c1546s163457 is a st Louis built feb 1966 c1446a162371 is a Atlanta built april 1966 I will update list and post soon thanks

Those numbers are pretty close together. The build sheet shows a date of 8-26-65. Went to Edmark Chevrolet in Caldwell Idaho.

Thanks for posting the build sheet information for the 1966 C10's. Mine was a Atlanta truck built between the first batch and the 2nd batch lines which I believe you mentioned 2nd week Oct 1965 A113XXX for the 1966 model year. How they have them listed on the sheet, is it the month, or week, or day on that? Is there another sheet that decodes that information? Or, is each line item a month?.... And do you know which ones they are for the Atlanta assembly plant line list you have on that sheet you posted?
Also, was there only one Atlanta assembly plant for the C10's? Was it Doraville, GA, GM Assembly plant that made the C10's? Let me know thanks!

Also, I saw you had answered a question on the original Dealership and when it was sold new and where..... by chance, do you have that information as well?

Mine is C2546Z142114. I know it was built in Fremont, CA and it was delivered to the dealer Apr 6, 1966.

Good question Bruce . I changed pc a while ago and the data did not transfer . I thought this thread was dead so i did not worry about it . I will need to go through the thread and compile . I was going through the papers on the 64-66 plant production to compile and post . but i have been busy . and had a slight concussion a few months ago that slowed me down . So i took a break from the green truck. I am starting to get back to it . I think yours was a very low production if i remember.

Yikes! Took a header, eh? Ooof! Hope you are now back to where you were before that.
Low production .. my trucks? .. nah, just low options on the turquiose one. Both 66's are Spring season Fremont trucks.

Cool, thanks! We found that my dad's 69 K20 also came out of the Fremont plant. Kinda cool to have both of our trucks made in the same place :chevy:

Looks very clean, a great candidate for a restoration.http://www.ebay.com/itm/1966-Blue-GM...tF66fLM6f5chhw Not many still have the protecto plate in the glove box. Nice power train, straight 6, 4 speed and 3.54 ratio spicer 44 rear axle.
