Painted the block and stuck some stuff on it for fun waiting on some arp bolts and a new timing cover so I can get it all together.

Got the motor and trans in on sat.Also got in my Dakota digital all in one gauge no excuses now time to get the parts hung build the exhaust and get the rebel wire kit in lots to do but getting closer day by day lol.

I have been working on the 3 in exhaust drive shaft rear main brake line it's like the list just gets bigger never smaller lol.

Got it all hung welded (all but the balance tube)I might do away with the front clamps and just weld it there also.3"all the way with Flowmaster 10s.used 4 hangers 2 in front 2 in the back.i had a local muffler shop make the bends then I cut it all to length recut and changed some of the angles of the bends ect till I liked it.It was kinda fun lol.

Awesome build. The unibodies are my favorite Fords. What brand is that steering wheel? I've been looking for a white three spoke wheel.

I too miss my UNI ... a 1962 (Sold to HAMB member WhiteyFord). Although it had a dropped front axle & flip in the rear I always wanted to go to the next level as you have.

Outstanding job so far. If I can ask ... why the square tube vs. round with the frame X member & rear bracing? I understand the bed tube but the others??

Appears that you are on the home stretch & have inspired me to start looking for another F100.

Thanks ,I used the square tube to do something a bit different and I wanted to use 3/16 thick metal.Im going to start a full custom frame after I get it on the road and I will use regular round tube for the k member and cross members on it.I guess different is not always better lol.

Its great your gona look for and save another ole Ford.

Hey Jake wasn't challenging you just have done lots of tube work with round stock ... seems to be EZ to work with vs. square.
No disrespect ... to the quality or workmanship - it just, as you mentioned, looked different than what's "typically" used. Don't make is better or worse.

Love the truck so far. As I mentioned - got me looking for another early ford p/u. It's in the driveway as soon as my outlaw 10.5 '64 2dr post Fairlane hits the bricks & is in a new owners garage!

I did not take it in a negative way at all.I already have a list of stuff I want to do different on the frame I am going to build.I think most guys that build a project learn along the way and think you know I should have done this or I wish I would have done it this way and I hope to do all the I wish I would haves on the frame project I will start.But on the other hand I really want to put some miles on the truck.

Things the frame will have different is a parallel 4 link with watts link in the rear a mustang 8.8 with centered diff.The front will have side top a arm mounts and room for 2600 bags or shock wave style bags if I can let go of the cash they cost.ect ect I would love to put a coyote motor in it also.

Maybe I just need another one to start on lol

I did end up full welding the exhaust and putting in a H pipe.Lots of room with the motor and trans sitting up as high as it is.

Super. I'm glad you read it as I meant it.

I'd finish it & drive it. Redoing stuff already done, IMHO, is like going backwards. Truck is very nicely done as is. Finish it up & drive the bag out of it. It's also been a good learning tool for the next one!!

Plenty of good F100 donors out there ...
