Went color shopping today and picked two that are similar to these. I think this is going to be a long process. I originally wanted a satin color but have read it’s difficult to spray without getting stripes.

Nice. When I spray paint it looks like a flash flood just hit. Wish I could do that

Nothing exciting to report, did manage to strip and primer a front fender for body work.
To anyone who has removed the rear hood brace for clean up and primer is it better to spot weld back in or would pop rivets work?

Your drivetrain sure looks nice and shiny. I for one will not be opening my hood at any shows.

Looks great! Very nice work - these old fenders are tough and usually really beat!

Re: Jans 53

very pretty!

I would weld, rivets are usually aluminum and I dont think would hold up to the environment.

Your color choices are very similar to what I wanted but in the end I went with grey.

You might look at the new Subarus, they have a Desert Khaki that has a nice sage green tone.

:clap:Nothing very exciting to report, been working on getting body work finished up. Found some rot on the inside lower doors I had forgotten about so I started on that today. The living room is filling up with body parts, thankfully I am the wife and I say it’s ok they can stay there as long as it takes,LOL.

Ask MARTINSR about that; he had his apart recently.

And your work looks super clean.
