Re: Project: Patina (1949 Chevrolet 1434)
The inner fenders are my plan also...I'll have to keep an eye out for some donor rear fenders with the bottom rusted out since I only need the top. Subscribing to see how the bag setup goes for you.

Re: Project: Patina (1949 Chevrolet 1434)
I'd like to upload photos but Photobucket blocks 3rd party sharing now...
|
Re: Project: Patina (1949 Chevrolet 1434)
Been having the very same problem. I deleted ALL the 99 pages of pics I had there and am currently uploading them back one by one on a french hosting website but you have other alternatives too: https://www.ghacks.net/2017/07/02/ph...r-third-party/
Choose what suits you best. For my part, I went with https://www.hostingpics.net/ Don't rely on the flag for changing it to English, it won't work. I'm not really concerned as I'm a french canadian so... Hoping to be of help. Your friendly frog from the North JSavoie |
Re: Project: Patina (1949 Chevrolet 1434)
Another great thread ends with no pics, :(

Re: Project: Patina (1949 Chevrolet 1434)
Not necessarely, all of us who have that same problem with photobucket will most likely find another FREE hosting website and re-upload our pics or at the very least be able to add new ones.
For my part, I download every bit of build I like on my hard drive for future reference. So, I could be able to help many of you who lost their pics. I renamed a lot by the "number" they had in each page like A1 for the first pic on page one of "x" build etc. YOU GUYS thought me this: For every problem, there is a solution. :metal: The only ones I stopped downloading are those with too much modifications to them as I perfectly know I'll never have the dough to even dream of making such mods. So, if I can be of help to anyone here, just ask! PS in some cases, there were a few pics I didn't download because I didn't need them but more than 95% are here on my hard drive. It might be easier for you than ckecking one by one which pic went where. |
Re: Project: Patina (1949 Chevrolet 1434)
If you go on google Chrome and search "Photobucket Embed Fix" you can add the extension and all 3rd party shared photos reappear.
I'll be adding more photos of my build shortly. |

Re: Project: Patina (1949 Chevrolet 1434)
Since these photos were taken Ive sold the wheels in search for something a little bigger and wider. I also bought a project and flipped it to fund this project. Over the winter I plan to save up some funds to buy a chassis and engine harness in addition to some engine goodies. I'd like to have the truck running by next season.
While I was home this summer I got some photos taken of my 6.0L Blazer. http://i334.photobucket.com/albums/m...psjivfdimn.jpg http://i334.photobucket.com/albums/m...psj2l17v25.jpg http://i334.photobucket.com/albums/m...psilc2swoi.jpg http://i334.photobucket.com/albums/m...psklev09ui.jpg |

I also have the Denali rear bumper I plan to run. |
Re: Project: Patina (1949 Chevrolet 1434)
Cool build! And cool trucks, like the white Blazer....Tagging along for the rest.

Re: Project: Patina (1949 Chevrolet 1434)
I like the supercharger. Where did you pick that up at? I have been thinking of something similar. Is it sitting on your intake backwards? it looks like the pulley is at the back. Nice progress.
S-dime blazers have a soft spot in my heart. I had an 85 that was lowered with a 400 sb engine. I sold it when I bought my 48. Marc |
Re: Project: Patina (1949 Chevrolet 1434)
looking good! nice to see you back around!

The supercharger is just resting on there. I need to get a lower profile valley cover so I can bolt it down. The vent tube is holding it up in the pictures. This is the car style blower so it's on the right way the TB is on the front unlike the truck blowers. I cant wait to see how it works! |
