And have you thought about a Removable steering Wheel? ;) JK

If my kids are anything like I was, the keys will definitely be hidden away. Although, times have changed. There’s no forgiveness anymore from the law side of things.

I can’t wait to blend the rockers, add the rest of the trim and polish it, I think she’s really gonna pop.

do you have a paint code you could share with me ?

For sure. Spid says 520. And that’s what I told the ladies at the auto body supply.

Haven’t updated this thread for months. here’s a few pics from late summer when I had to update appraisals. Not running yet, had to push her around.

Now on to progress.

Got the tank cover in and installed the freshly powder coated buddy bucket frame and console.

72’ truck Tilt and aftermarket 15” wheel. Plus a factory tach.

Had one last look at my buddy’s work before I installed the tank cover. It almost hurts to cover up such nice work.

What’s your opinion of the 15” steering wheel?
Nice quality?
Killer truck.

Thanks.

I like it so far. It’s not spindly and weak like the 17” aftermarket wheels. Or at least they used to be.

The finish looks good as well. I bought one for the K5 as well.

Picked these up today.

I bought the covers from a local supplier and had them installed by a local shop, I’m pretty happy with them, can’t wait to get them in truck tonight.

Interior is basically finished with the exception of some wiring.

Put together a few before and after combo pics.

First time she has left the property since I bought her in September of 2019. Although she looks a little different these days.

Dropped her off at my buddies shop for exhaust.

Nice work J. I know most of the fellas that you have chosen to work on this truck and you made good choices. It was my privilege to help where I could with your vision. Although I'm a stock kinda guy this truck is perfect!

He did not. These were done by a guy up here in Alberta Canada. I’m not sure if Boris does his in house or subs it out. He does have some immensely talented people working for him.
