Thanks. I've seen ones where they used vise grips, but this way seemed easier.

Busy weekend with work, but wanted to give it a shot on getting this thing running. Everything plumbed, fenders on, exhaust ready to shoot fire.....But this didn't happen. Couldn't get the Fuel pump to run just with the Terminator X. Hot wired it to a switch and we were good. Got keyed ignition and fuel pressure. Engine cranks, but does not start. Time to double check everything and chase the bugs. Also have to fix a minor fuel leak at the pump. Glad I went with a shut off right out of the fuel cell or it would have been major. On a good note: Finally have a hood and looks like everything fits under it!

Almost there!

I fought with a handful of bad sensors when I did my first fire. I managed to get TWO bad crank sensors and one bad cam sensor from the auto parts store. I thought I was losing my mind. Luckily my brother has an LS swap that I borrowed the sensors from (since I knew they were good) and it fired right up.

It wouldnt throw a code with the bad sensors because I couldnt get it running long enough. Just a thought if you cant get it to fire.

Oh man, the one behind the starter?! Knew I should have replaced :) Will be a good starting point. Thanks for the info. My daughters boyfriend has a friend that does tuning. He's going to come by and see if I'm even telling the wizard the right info on the turbo? Wasn't completely sure about the timing/ psi. I've heard the MAT sensor can also throw things off. We'll see.....

While I'm waiting on parts and the wiz kid to come by with the laptop, I'll continue on with what I can do. Drew this pic awhile back when I had my other C10 with plans on doing it, never panned out. Going for it on this one. Started with 2014 Silverado bumper and the motto in my head of "Let's cut it up" haha. Mocked up for now with zip ties (I need to by stock in zip ties) to see how everything fits. I'll be using OEM Headlights/ housing for fog lights and they will be fully adjustable, maybe yellow?

Should be able to do the metal work and hopefully have it bolted up over the holiday weekend.

The bumper actually doesn't look bad, I was surprised.

I was surprised as well. Sometimes it looks good on paper and not in reality. Still have to take it in some on the sides and its going to be raised about and inch or two. Also plan on using some round stock to mimic the two hard edges that are on an OEM 73 bumper.

Small update. Didn't get as much done as I would've liked over the Holiday. Ended up being a busy FD weekend. Bumper is hanging on its own, brackets made and some nip/ tucks done. Just have to do some round bar and fog light mounts, then mud.

What are you doing with the rear bumper? I'm anxious to see it on the ground.

I'm anxious as well. Hoping all my measures work out. Finished up the metal work on the front bumper and starting mud. Once I have it on I'll let his toes touch the floor, haha. For the rear, currently running a stock bumper with a homemade hitch. Going to axe that and build something that has a diffuser to show more of the tank.

Sneak peek at the air damn and the rod work to mimic details of the OEM bumper. Air damn is very boxy now, but will be massaged a touch.

Some pics of me possibly destroying a cowl hood, haha. Hood did not clear the turbo and from previous threads @Tinydb84, looks like venting is a good idea. Went back to the old fenders to scavenge some pieces. Plan is to install some louvers on it and will also vent the back cowl section.
