Met up with Hart_Rod and some very old friends at the cruise night in P'cola tonight, had a good time. Took one pic and it turned out poorly... :(
Ooops, almost forgot that I received another shipping notice from Dave at Porterbuilt, my sway bar should arrive in a week or so! Looks like the last shipment, the big one, should be here around the 3rd week in March. :metal: |
Re: Project: Shiro
NOS grill shells and inserts are EXPENSIVE!! Now that we have that established, what is the next best alternative? Shiro's entire grill is hammered and will need replaced so what out there?

Buck I saw this pic of Holley's shop truck with the ls that looks like a big block and I thought about a post where you had previously stated you wanted your ls to look classic. Man this is it! lol I would love to make my ls look this cool.

Re: Project: Shiro
I hear the guys at Porterbuilt are finishing up a run of rear kits which means my order is very near complete, so it won't be long and we'll have a garage full of dropmember parts. I love seeing the updates Nate shares on FB and IG! Great insight into the process, and who doesn't like seeing super sano welds and all the dropmember parts lined up, ready to box and ship. :metal:

Re: Project: Shiro
Alright!!! I agree about the updates that nate makes on fb and ig, I really enjoy seeing all the production parts lined up!

Porterbuilt parts are on their way (thanks Nate and Dave!!), should be here Thursday evening. A new set of shoes are also headed our way from TNT-Motorsports (thanks Tommy!). I saw these on a truck on ebay and thought they would go contrast well with the white paint. We went with a 20x8.5 5.25bs for the front and a 20x9.5 5.5bs for the rear. We'll use Toyo ST II tires in 255/40-20 front and 295/40-20 rear. I ordered 1" narrowed control arms and I have a early (short) 12 bolt housing standing by if needed to tuck the rear to match. I'm stoked to say the least, just need to find the patience to stay the course. ;) Here is a pick of the inspiration and the wheel itself...
