In that case I think he's listing his truck in the wrong marketplace. It seems like a prime candidate for one of those high dollar classic car auctions.

The hanger is at Zamperini airport, I use to work across the street from there at a dealership. There were always nice toys in those hangers.

The guy probably needs cash to make a couple of house payments.

Price will drop next year when huge deductions for Prop Tax get axed

I'd say that is an honest price for that truck as good of shape as it is in. Not a fan of making a run to Cody Wyoming in the winter to haul a truck back though. The between here and there is pretty nasty right now.

I've got a deal going with a guy for an OT car up in the mountains out of
Boise and the seller said, lets do it in the spring, I'm snowed in now. It didn't hurt my feelings as I'll be far more ready for it in April.

Re: Post your C/L finds for everyone to enjoy!

yeah, to each their own i guess. I just never understand why you would put a truck like this on a lifted 4x4 chassis (not lifted enough to stop the tires from dragging though) and then chop the top so you can't see where you are driving. I have done lots of off roading and visibility is key. just my take though.

dsraven 12-19-2018 01:47 PM

Re: Post your C/L finds for everyone to enjoy!

well, if you like the body like it is you could always sell the chassis and start over. as long as the chop job is equal and done well. still kinda looks weird to me though

Not Craigslist but FWIW spotted 2 AD COE bodies on a trailer just as you leave Myrtle point on 42 heading to Coos Bay Oregon. Was in a hurry so no pics

Good idea; done!

I like the motorhome. Around here lots of folks living permanently in buses, campers and motorhomes not nearly so nice as that.

That isn't in the Owens Valley - That truck is on the east side of the San Joaquin Valley, east of Exeter, on Hwy 198, before you get to Three Rivers. It's been there 3 or four months now.

if that stendy cab had stretched doors it might look better. might be kinda hard to see out of to the side the way it is, depending on the seat placement i guess.
