Re: my 64

remember to relax, most people are much better drivers when they do...or are you talking about the written?

we just picked up a drivers handbook for my oldest....he wants to get a motorcycle permit next year

Re: my 64

thanks joe for the encouragement but im taliking about the written
if it was actual driving i would be fine
i had an idea for the motorcycle thing
if i get my motorcycle license im going to find a 250 cc honda, yamaha, whatever with a good title
and im going to cut the vin number off find a harley 883 or 1200 sporster weld the vin number on that bike
take the block to the machine shop get them to machine the vin off and get them to etch the 250cc's vin number on then i can ride it
i think this could be be a tad illegal but what isnt nowdays

You'll do fine on the test. It's really a lot of common sense. You shouldn't have a problem! Good Luck

Looks like you got a pretty nice shop Gage. When you get that thing running Im going to have to drive up there and check it out. What radiator are you using?

Sweet now we have directions to get free parts!

Re: my 64

haha I bet I could beat you to his house John. It's not wise to give directions to your house on the thread Gage. You might ask a Mod to remove it. I just wanted to know if Eastland was off 20!

Re: my 64

i started making mufflers about two weeks ago
the box muffler is on the pass. side (that is the first one)
the second one i made is on the four wheeler
and the third one is the tubular one on the drivers side
the only problem they have is they are too low to the ground and scrape
the main purpose in this is to waste a lot of materials welding wire and argon:lol:

Re: my 64

like i said before the mufflers hang way too low
so when i was backing it into the shop the drivers side one got ripped off
ill have to solve this it might work better if i used actual exhaust flanges instead of washers :D

It's impossible to tell............ they're secret.

However, logic dictates that long long ago......................... the chinese were some amazing people...............

Re: my 64

i think i have some type of sickness
i cant stop building mufflers im getting better at it though
here are some pics
this is what i started out with
its a 3x3 piece of square tubing 16 gauge
http://i886.photobucket.com/albums/a...4/IMG_1820.jpg
i cut two 10 in sections and welded them together like this
http://i886.photobucket.com/albums/a...4/IMG_1821.jpg
http://i886.photobucket.com/albums/a...4/IMG_1822.jpg
then i made baffles out of the same tubing and cut one side out of them
http://i886.photobucket.com/albums/a...4/IMG_1823.jpg
http://i886.photobucket.com/albums/a...4/IMG_1824.jpg
baffles welded in
http://i886.photobucket.com/albums/a...4/IMG_1828.jpg
finished product
http://i886.photobucket.com/albums/a...4/IMG_1825.jpg
http://i886.photobucket.com/albums/a...4/IMG_1826.jpg
http://i886.photobucket.com/albums/a...4/IMG_1827.jpg
im trying to get my dad to let me put them on his 67 c10
i havnt finished the second one because i ran out of wire
