https://scontent-atl3-1.xx.fbcdn.net...0d&oe=58843187 $25 Stepside off a '93? Oh hell yeah. I'll rock it. :metal: Oh hey. I'm back. And after being broke and having absolutely zero time to get this truck ANYWHERE....it's time to make her roar again. Currently working on the engine. Plan is get the engine, trans, and t-case set back in the frame in the next say month or so. And go from there. This thing is still in pieces and has been on the back burner for too damn long! |
Re: 1992 GMC Sierra K1500 Shortwide Z71 Conversion

Re: 1992 GMC Sierra K1500 Shortwide Z71 Conversion
Well, not the prettiest set up...but it works for what I've got. Exhaust is done. Still need to run hangers though. She's 100% true dual....no y-pipe, no connections. Two pipes, two cats, two mufflers. I'm happy with it. :D
https://scontent-dft4-3.xx.fbcdn.net...1d&oe=59BA0138 https://scontent-dft4-3.xx.fbcdn.net...4e&oe=59A10B03 Also got some goodies. New 12.5" long u-bolts from Rough Country. https://scontent-dft4-3.xx.fbcdn.net...37&oe=59A35A48 And has anyone redone their speed sensor buffer modules with DIP switches? It's a pain in the ass. https://scontent-dft4-3.xx.fbcdn.net...b7&oe=59C0821A |

Thank you sir. I also found a twin of my truck! It's not identical but I think it's pretty cool.

Well, I haven't posted in almost 2 years and honestly no had no intention to for a while as I started having issues. I blew my original 350. I spun a rod bearing and dropped a lifter...Honestly got kinda down and lost complete interest for a while. But there's always a light at the end of the tunnel.
A few years ago I bought a '97 Yukon from a friend...floor was rotted and truck had issues so I decided I wouldn't put it on the road. So I took the L31 out of it and swapped it into the beast. I can finally say as we are nearing the end of 2019...the beast looks like a truck again...I'm happy with it again. |
Re: 1992 GMC Sierra K1500 Shortwide Z71 Conversion
Glad to see things are back with it!
