I'm replacing the vents in my dash. The dimple die is overdone these days. So I'm going with my own custom design. I needed to make a duct bucket for ach one, and this is what I came up with. After this I will be focusing on finishing the chassis.

Re: A real BadSeed
You aren't wasting your time. If you don't have any response, it doesn't mean no one is looking, it just means they aren't responding. Your post might help someone a year from now, or tomorrow. Even if it doesn't help someone while you're active on this site, you can always look at it like a journal of your build process. And even a way to keep the records of parts you've used or what exactly you did to the truck. Keep posting. Several people are watching.

Ok. Thank you guys for responding. I'll keep going. Haha.
I came across the earliest picture I know of that was taken of the truck when my dad was driving it and working a ranch. The little girl in the picture is my 47 year old sister. And I was about 5 years from being born. Doing the math and a little estimating, that primer was on a 7 year old truck. It's like it's never had a shine on it. Lol. #BadSeed #RanchoAelegria |

I designed some custom mounting feet for my A/C condensor to separate it from the radiator. There's a slight bend in the mounting feet. The core support is double walled where this mounts so I drilled through the first layer hiding the mounting screw inside the double wall. This will all be behind the radiator.
*The condensor that showed up in the mail was damaged, making it my mock-up condensor. That's why it looks bent in the pics. They sent a replacement and told me keep the junk. |
Re: A real BadSeed
The mounting feet were cut by DotLowRides in Texas

I bought a small oil cooler with a 7" electric fan. I made a custom shroud for it. This this will most likely be located behind the cab, but it's still up in the air for now.

I tapped the screw holes for these air-lift sensor mounts, installed my little 3H covers and found a home for the set up on the frame.

I shortened the trans crossmember to be installed on the boxed in frame. I drilled holes and welded the nuts to the inside to create a captive-nut situation. All the crossmembers are installed with this method

I had my grille inserts made a few months back and had them installed about 2 minutes after they showed up. I threw the grille bezel clips in the trash and used round-head screws that hold the bezel and grilles in place. The bezel and grille inserts will be powder coated black.

I had my 2 piece driveshaft made and custom fit for this truck by Oceanside Driveline in Oceanside Ca. The owner came to my house and measured everything up. There were a few things that needed addressing after I received it, and ODL was great through the whole process. I recommend them.
