Pics for YOU ricky..figure this one out
This is my tailgate trim piece I only have 1 piece (truck was like that when I got it). Well I had enough trim clips to 'sorta' put it on so I did the other day. Well it came off of this gate, its slid closest to the handle as possible, but sticks out what the heck tell me how to fix it lol |
Re: "Rice Rocket'
john you can do 2 things 1 take the trim off and figure out how far each clip is moved to the right and move them to the left to align them with each hole on the tailgate, with the trim set how you want it installed on truck or you coud tap it over to the right with a rubber or wood mallet. YES!!!! PICS!!!!!
|
Re: "Rice Rocket'
I cant scoot the trim over anymore (its up against the tailgate handle already)!!!! Its the same on the other side too? wtf
|
Re: "Rice Rocket'
haha my buddys truck does the same... well you could bring out a sander pad on the grinder and grind it down to make it shorter.
|
Re: "Rice Rocket'
But it wasnt like that when I got it, I dont think..lol
|
Re: "Rice Rocket'
if you look in the message board and see thread called questions about 67 68 trim look at my post and read it, what i replyed is what you need to do to this trim also
|
Re: "Rice Rocket'
you don't need any trim anyways.......:drama:
|
Re: "Rice Rocket'

Hubscrub-I need trim, and you need to put that upper trim on your bed. |
Re: "Rice Rocket'
chrome wont get you home.... and grind the trim down to fit you understand that? lol not with a grinder though i put a post up in a thread called questions about 67 68 trim
