If I am up and running by then. I still need 1000.00 more dollars for my final order. Maybe in a few weeks I can get it done. At least ordered.

Today I installed the:
head light switch
wiper switch
dash cluster
left and right sun visors with new chrome visor clips
inside rear view mirror arm
dimmer switch with new pigtail
lay out the carpet to be installed tomorrow.
glove box door
brake light switch
I removed the last 1/2 inch of coating on all my wires so when I do start with the wiring that will be ready.
good thing the cluster is going to cover the light and wiper switch for you can see the damage I done. A bull in a china shop.

Re: 1968

The instruction for the carpet said to let it lay for 12 to 24 hours before installing it. I see why it didn't lay flat maybe tomorrow.
I want to install the carper and the door sills and the bench seat tomorrow. If I get that done it will be a good day.

Boy, George, you look a lot younger than you let on.....

So what all is in the final order that adds up to around $1000? Got a sizeable order coming up myself for leaf springs, but you are way beyond that point.

And, yes, the rest of that immaculate interior makes that steering wheel look kinda scruzzy. Maybe some armor all will shine it up a bit (and make you unable to grip it:lol:).

That is one of my boys he helps me all the time. at least he thinks he is. I sent you a PM.
as far as the steering wheel it will have to do until later.

that 1000.00 doesn't even count the wood bed floor

Just remember, when you see that wheelbarrow in the mirror, it will be closer than it appears...;)

What are the door switches for, courtesy lights?

I thought it looked good orange, but you're right, that black does look better, I think.

You are a man on a mission!

Did you buy the chrome mirrors new or have them replated?
