She's had her hand in everything over the last year of working on it. It's been a great experience for both of us. Quality father/daughter time.

One of the Very Best things the Father/Daughter team can do is hop in the C-10 and go pick 2 boxes of Avocados then mail them to me!

Ta2Don recently made some too, but different. See his post #1855 HERE. Thanks for sharing the idea. Do they stay tucked under the seat during hard braking? I mean, do they like click into position with a detent or other design to keep them from moving left and right during hard cornering?

Sorry for not posting a reply sooner, they are bolted thru bushings, the bolts are tight enough that it requires a slightly firm push to fold them out of the way. There is no unintended movement.

I like stuff like that because it's both unique and resourceful. People look at it and say, "That's pretty cool. Where did you buy them?". Then you can just smile and casually say, "I made them."
NICE JOB :metal::metal::metal::metal:

Yeah buddy, we have avos coming out the tail pipes over here. Don't even know what they cost to be honest, I thought they were free.

Installed a third brake light off of a late 90's Suburban and put new LED "For Off-road Use Only" bulbs in the taillights.

Looks very good almost factory. Did you need to reshape it ?

Great question. I didn't reshape it, but it was actually warped a little bit with some slight concave curvature that along with the slight concave curvature of the opposing metal roofline creates about a 1/8th inch gap between the light housing and the roof at it's center point, so I may try to drill aanother hole in it and add a third screw in the center if it won't ruin the light in the process (and if it does, the third brake light only cost me $7 at the junkyard and there were many more where that came from.) If that doesn't work, I could probably add some construction adhesive and then caulk it and paint it to match the roof color to create a finished look.

Flowmasters always seem to sound extra nice on a 6, inliner or V!

I covered the driver's side door panel in vinyl and used the Duplicolor fabric paint product to match it to the color I had previously used on the bench seat that I had pulled out of a '67 Buick.
