yep, our buck sucks...
trucks were actually $53K, then destination and the other crapola they throw on ya brought them up to $55 799.
pretty basic, only power is the winda's. 4x4, vinyl seats and floor, tilt column and tow/haul. also has some kind of info-tainment screen system, still lurning, never had any kind of screen in any of my vehicles. boss did spring for a/c in them which is nice-they blow bloody cold.
goes in this weekend for Line-x and new racks.
most of our current fleet is like yours Killer Bee, with a few older '05-'06's in the mix. prob about 3/4 of the current fleet has 400 000 km or more (approx 250 000 miles) we also have an old '05 f350 diesel crew 4x4 with 600 000kms (approx 370 000 miles)

first new company truck ever for me, were so hard on our trucks that we usually get used, lease returns or the boss'es new/old hand me downs when he's done with them...hell, first new any vehicle i ever got to play with:metal:
we commute to the big city alot for our work and pretty much everyday put about 2-250 miles on them- mileage starts racking up fast....

Only thing mine has is power door locks, which I wish it didn't. The windows are hand crank but it does have AC.

There's a little bitty screen that displays time and temperature, plus radio and hvac when you change something. I dunno if anything else; I can barely figure out how to change AM/FM on the radio :rolleyes:

Mostly all of that stuff is useless to me unless I wear my reading glasses which of course not when driving. I have to figure out which button does what and then remember when I'm driving. The gauges I can just tell what is going on.

Yes sir I understand that one. There’s a few days a week I do similar mileage. The oil fields I work in are pretty spread out, it’s 200+ miles from our northern wells to our southern wells. Enjoy them while they are new, I always feel kinda guilty getting the new ones muddy for the first time.

1976gmc20- yep we do our part to keep mother GM afloat!

I took this awhile back. Did a double take when I drove past, had to turn around to snap a pic. Us old school car guys know where this car is from.
