Thanks, Man. I get one every year and my son & dad will too. We have my dad’s old home place, which is 120 acres in south Arkansas. Always an abundance of game and fish in the gravel pit ponds.

That’s tough about having to be drawn for a tag. Can’t imagine having to do that.

I grew up in Virginia, we always shot at least 10 whitetails a year between my dad, my brothers, and myself. It’s taken a lot of getting used to that’s for sure.

Changing out the two piece driveshaft on my Dodge. Went to fix my old one and good u joints and the carrier bearing were over 300 plus labor . I was going to farm it out . So for 650 delivered it was a no brained . I’m having them make one up for the 72 and my Chevelle

The ladies went on their traditional day after Thanksgiving shopping spree and the guys took off to for eats, a couple beers, darts and slidey board (Shuffle Board for those that are not in the know). A damned good day.

I got dragged into going shopping with my wife. We had to buy dog food and she can't lift a 35 pound bag (She can but she wants me to do it)

So. We stopped by an antique store. They had a cool Pennzoil 55 gallon drum sitting outside. I thought it would be a cool trash can for my garage. But the guy wanted $200 for it. I liked it but not that much. Who knows maybe it's worth that much. Just not to me. I'm not paying 200 bucks for a trash can.

I bet for less than $50 you can buy a barrel and paint logo it yourself and be much happier. Use a plastic drum and it will last much longer. ;)

Sold the wheels I was going to put on a 1981 Malibu wagon I have. Getting ready to sell it, and I don't like having ugly wheels on any car.

I hate black on black wheels, and this was going on a Blue wagon...............

Put the one piece driveshaft in my Dodge . What a difference , very smooth and the take off shutter is gone that the truck had since it was new. Next up is my Chevelle

That's the one. I thought it was a 55 gallon. I was never any good at math.

Good news is that your can is now worth 200 bucks according to the guy selling or sitting on this one.

I have no problem paying a little too much for something I really want. But when the price just becomes excessive I walk.

I may be an idiot but I'm not a sucker.

Those 33s go for the big money. A 55 is a less desirable size. I can never find a 33 I am willing to pay the cost for. I'd pay $200 for a more obscure more vintage can but not such a common and recent one as that Pennzoil.

Our leaves held on longer this year. This is the weekend I put up Christmas lights but it doesn't seem right when I still have leaves to deal with. So I divided the day between some leave removal and starting the lights. Same thing today, but mainly hope to get some work done on the barn move project. This getting dark early thing is putting a hurtin' on getting anything done after work during the week. Outside work all my life means when the sun goes down the tools get put away and I shut down

I tried to get my hardwood (laminate) floors to shine. I tried 2 different products that were supposed to bring out the shine. They did...For about 5 minutes. Then it was just like before.

Does anyone know of something to get these floors to shine. Otherwise I'm just ripping them out and replacing them. I was thinking Polyurethane but they aren't real wood so I don't know how that would work.

My wife and I watched our Granddaughters Today while our Son in law and Daughter went to the Broncos - Chargers Game. I winterized the patio door and made a trip to town for bird seed and dog treats. Picked up some photo cards at Walgreens and parked next to someones '72 K5 . We bought lunch at Mickey D's and got home in time to see kick off .

Installed a dash camera in my Denali. It was in my 2018 Sierra. Only took me 14 months to get around to hard wiring it in this truck.:o

We were just below the edge of that snow and it got to low-50s. I put up the lights on all my buildings. Over the years I've been told the kids across the road (barely see their house from here) love the lights. I also have kids next to and behind me who have parents that don't do such things and I like knowing they get to see mine. The ones across the way are growing up but staying around and now they do the lights up bigtime, starting with stringing lights from the road all the way back to the house. I get to look at theirs now. I always liked seeing the house out in the country all lit up. I love seeing mine when I drive up in the evening, as well as while I'm home. I can look out my window from bed and see them above the window and out on the woodshed. I love seeing the lights in the snow. I leave them on until second week of January January but leave them up till spring. I'll plug them in when we get a good snow.

Hah! I still have all the Nintendo stuff from my oldest son. I may still master Mario Brothers yet! That's all I ever tried with it or any other video gaming. I figure it still works but haven't tried.

Take Suburban to town with grandkids to do errands. That's just great, and how it was meant to be. When I had my '71 it was our pile in and go vehicle when our kids were young. I mostly remember going to 4H for dog obedience classes with our kids our dog, some neighbor kids, and their dogs. All I knew is I was driving and could see out the windshield and looking in the rear view was eyeballs and fur.

I like to carry parts on my seat that go on my truck. Bigger stuff goes on the passenger floor

What I did yesterday, other than leaves and Christmas lights, was finish bolting bottom plates on the one barn wall (barn move project) and lay the block that the building will move across. Still on temporary supports. Let that set a while then set the building down and do the other side

I'd like to see this whole building move in time lapse. I suppose you will use a come along to slide that wall over when the time comes?

Eye exam, no change from a year ago. Took truck dog to get his nails clipped. Washed the '70, the Tahoe, and Zero (the Mitsubishi). Wet and kinda cold, I sat out in the driveway and caught some rays. ;) Fun day off!

I just hope it moves! I wish I had a Go-Pro. I have a camera I could use. Sounds like more work tho'. How will I move the building? Heck if I know. I thought you knew. I'm just focused on getting it ready to be moved . I really am just figuring it out as I go. I get all the ideas floating around and when I get closer to it I come up with what might be best. I was originally thinking push the building with skid loader or large farm tractor with bucket. The plan is to run 4x6s between the 4 posts to tie both walls together at the bottom. Then roll the building on pieces of steel pipe between the 4x6 and the short temporary block walls.

I have considered maybe come-alongs might do it with the pipe rollers helping. The question has been how to anchor the end I'll be pulling to. I was looking at the side I haven't touched the posts on yet and am thinking I can use those to anchor to. I could just cut them out up high making room to bolt the plates under the posts and leave the lower part to anchor to.

If the top surface is wood you should be able to use any finish made for wood. I could be wrong. I guess you could look into it on your computer to be sure
