So Dave if the the good life you have lived is 40 years worth and you just turned 50...... If think you are missing 10 years worth :smoke::ito:

Well boys , it is my turn to go play in the woods and bark and howl , I'll be back soon.

Dave- I will get you a mountain maiden or a wolfy, whichever I find first.

I heard a story today about a bow hunter that tagged his wolf at 3 paces while bugling elk.

Good luck on your maiden search. I'm a dog lover so I won't be to disappointed if you don't get a wolf.;) I heard them everyday where I was hunting. Also saw a lot of bears. 3 at one time. Did'nt know if I had enough bear spray for a pack of bears. Had a good chance at a huge wide 6pt. Thats all I ask for, one chance on a good bull every year. Have fun.:mm: I'll see what I can do about the ten yr thing. The cow is a decoy. Worked on 3 loggers. They walked up right under me. Could'nt tell till they were 30 yrds away. Then they were saying. I wonder where he is. haha I was laughung so bad they almost heard me. My stand was in the bare tree right above the cow. Cooper the cow dog.

So either you need to get rid of something, or build a bigger shop.:uhmk:

Well .I did not miss much excitement here while I was gone hunting.
No mountain maidens to be found in the woods , But I found fresh tracks in the snow.
I heard loud grunting out in the forest one night after every one had gone to sleep.
But I was too scared to go out alone....
Attachment 815450 You boys that are still dying in the southern heat.. It is snowing in Idaho already!!!!!

daverod 10-16-2011 11:11 PM

Re: Daverods project 66

Grunting?? Are you sure it was'nt moaning ? Some of those mountain maidens are corn fed and can be very large.:sumo: You should consider yourself lucky to be alive.

Re: Daverods project 66

I am glad to be back in town where it is safe. I smelled something really bad once while I was riding one of the logging roads on my four wheeler just before dark , So I gassed it and got the heck out of there.
If a mountain maiden is sneaking up on you and you are not ready , it is better to just run than to be taken alive.........

I really don't drink much, mostly with dinner, and maybe 1 before dinner. ;) REALLY!!! It cost me too much to get drunk. It takes a lot

Re: Daverods project 66

Just because we go hunting doesn't mean we kill things. Most the time I never kill anything. When I do kill stuff I kinda feel bad.:lol: For a second then I feel really happy.:smoke::smoke:

Re: Daverods project 66

I must admit our "hunting Trips" are really just a good reason to go camping in the woods and ride 4-wheelers, eat good camp cooking, drink and watch football and act manly . Man Camping !!:sumo:
We are not ever too serious about hunting, That can be way too much work if you actually shoot something..... then it becomes work and messy:splat:

Re: Daverods project 66

It only matters when you go to buy a starter?

daverod 10-17-2011 10:10 PM

Re: Daverods project 66

Thats why I never shoot anything. I pass up allmost everything. I like getting close. I usally hunt hard untill I get one good chace at a nice 6pt. Most the time he gets away. But least I had my chance. This year I never hunted in the morning at all.:lol:

Re: Daverods project 66

So is there room under the dash for that side ways set up? Or do you have to do a bunch of fabricating? Also how do you full the master? Through the speaker hole?

watahyahknow 10-18-2011 03:14 PM

Re: Daverods project 66

he could use a big seringe and a small piece of hose for filling less rish for leaks that way and that works even if the seringe is under the level of the reservour

Strodder 10-18-2011 03:20 PM

Re: Daverods project 66

I know but still sounds like it could be a mess. Dave wouldn't want to get brake fluid on all those license plates.

daverod 10-18-2011 04:44 PM

Re: Daverods project 66

So many questions so little answers.;) I'm sure everything will fit without any fabing.:lol: Maybe with a straw through the speaker grill.
