Finished the park/ turn lamp assemblies. The NOS lens's made the biggest difference in them.
Took pics with the original lamps that were removed from the donar hood for comparison. Its amazing how dark the amber lens will turn over 50 years. |

Got a little bit of time in on the truck in between garden and yard duties.
Got the driver side fender extension taken off. The antennae mounted on the new one and the extension installed. Also go the "new" spotlight installed. I like this design much better personally. Next job will be the wiper nozzles and lines and then the hood. |

Re: 1963 C-10 in NC
The CH model lights have really grown on me. I really like the change. Its a smaller light so maybe that's why I like it better.

Not a lot done this weekend. Climbed and removed a 100ft sycamore this Saturday that was leaning over a buddies house and spent Sunday with the wife.
Did get a few minutes to flip the hood and get the liner done. I think it will take one more coat in the large flat areas to even out the coat 100%. Will try to fit the lights, bezels and hood seals/ foam tonight if I get off on time. Pics of the hood in various stages of work and 1 from work Saturday. |

Re: 1963 C-10 in NC
Thanks TJ. Hood is coming along, will be completed this week. Still waiting on harness from American Autowire, should see it soon though.
Tree was fun. We've been trying to get to it for a few months. I used to be a lead climber for a hazardous removal company. We basically did all the trees no one else wanted to touch. This monster was 25' off the house, double top and right at 100' tall. Spent around 3.5 hrs climbing and roping it out, but we got it down with no issues. |
