Or perhaps someone had those on in place of the camper mirrors and then the camper mirrors were reinstalled (that would be ideal, if it were original paint, I mean). Have never seen med green and gray plaid together before! Real nice truck. If interested in originality, potential buyers should look closely at the doors on the inside - check for the vent window support screw, that will confirm as a 72-only door, and thus, original sheet metal to the truck.

Look a little closer, those are the correct 72 mirror holes ;)

It is a very odd color combo, pretty cool though

According to the guy selling it for his friend, "Looks like original paint except for hood and drivers door, floors rockers, cab supports , bed, all solid"

So the drivers door may have been replaced and or the hood..

I think it is pretty unique combination.

Sport mirrors? Whoda thunk it. Glad they put the camper mirrors back on there. I though they looked like the earlier 3-bolt mount that lasted up to 69 or 70 ish from the mid-60's trucks. Well that's good news then. Unique truck. Now if we could just find those custom camper nameplate hole remnants..

It does seem to have some extra kindling in the cab. But from the photos it doesn't seem to be a un-reversible situation. Unless it is hiding a greater evil that lurks underneath. OH THE SUSPENSE!!!!!!

Looks like a very solid truck (CAL REG) for the Midwest. Someone should snag it if they're looking for a nice Longhorn

NOt CL, but has a BIN on ebay, so thought I'd share - don't see many of 68 Custom Campers with original 396/TH400 (but I'd confirm that originality before buying - it was at least born with both). Seller seems to not know much about the truck - could not identify TH400 (and probably a lot of folks can't) and also has a total of zero feedback, so might be something to consider - good candidate to see in person, that's what I'd want to do (if you blow up the first pic, you can see the telephone number... :)). Camper comes with it, although it's not exactly period correct. Nice old truck. $6800 BIN probably isn't out of the ballpark on it - but it does have some rocker rot. Anyway, love the custom campers... enjoy. http://www.ebay.com/itm/292181755760

I don't usually post anything but 72s with air, but this one came up in Dallas, and looks pretty original. Needs a bit of rust repair, but not much.

1969 C/10 with factory air. Guy says he has new rockers for it. $3950

The 4x4 k20 from Columbia SC appears to have slight sheet metal damage to passenger side roof. Looking close at the picture it looks like something in the top corner of the windshield. Other than that it looks like a good candidate for a restoration or a good driver. If it wasn't an automatic I would have already made the trip down to look at it.

I'm continually jealous of the iron available elsewhere in the country. This is pretty typical of what is local to me. I know this isn't the craigslist duds page but I have to vent a little.

Went to look at this 67 CST 327 auto ps pb air big window lwb with my father as he's getting the itch for a c10 again after I bought mine. Described as having "some rust you can fix or drive as is" and being running and driving. Turn out to be a bondo special with nearly every panel needing replacement or patch work including everything from the kick panels down on the cab. The cab supports were basically nonexistent and a few good bumps would knock the cab clear from the frame if you dared to "drive it as is". All for the low asking price of $5500. Unfortunately dad isn't too keen on buying something not in front of him but I think I'm wearing him down on going Roadkill style.

I feel your pain, I'm from southwest Pennsylvania, and there is practically nothing decent near me. There are basically 2 types of trucks available, trucks that are rotted beyond repair, and trucks that have been restored that bring big money.look at it this way, a 2 or 3 day road trip is well worth it versus a months worth of work cutting out rusted panels.
