I remember watching these guys at work doing an epoxy floor. They had these spikes on their shoes. It was kinda neat really. I think if I ever build a shop of some sort I’ll do an epoxy floor. The shop is really coming along nicely. I’m ready to start wrenching right now.

Ya the one guy's spike boots had 1/4" of epoxy app over them lol

The floor looks great. We sell a product at the company I work for called FlooPix and its a way to embed a logo or picture into your epoxy floor. Here are a few pics....I would love to do something similar in my garage.

I bet you are excited to move into your new space.

Marc

Thanks Marc The logos are really neat. Yes I couldn't wait.

So Saturday morning I went into the shop on my hands and knees to make sure it was all dry lol. Wow the floor is amazing!! I spent most of Saturday getting things organized to move in and just when it got dark we moved some stuff and the cars in. Then sat down and had some beer. Sunday we moved more stuff in. Then this morning I started organizing everything. I have never had so much space. :bann:

Very cool, that's awesome! It's great to finally get in and use a new space. I regret not dong the floor and walls in my garage when we moved in. Oh well, I'll know better on the next one.

Wow, that looks really nice! It is great to have your truck there handy rather than it being tucked away in storage. Sometimes, they are just good to look at.

Sure thing. It helps when it is empty to start.

Re: My 52 GMC Build

Glad you got your door on! I'm looking at the extra height/extra length Atlas 8k lift. I'd like to be able to put my crew cab 2500HD on it and under it. I'm about 3 hours away from one of their store fronts in Des Moines, IA.

Scott2 12-14-2017 12:55 PM

Re: My 52 GMC Build

Great lift! I wish I had headroom for one - what I really need is a standalone shop like yours. I’m very lucky to have an oversized 4 car garage but it’s not ideal for some of the bigger messes. One day....

youngrodder 12-14-2017 03:43 PM

Re: My 52 GMC Build

I like the first lift better...
A lift would be a welcome addition to my garage but don't have the headroom.

Marc
