Looks like you will be busy for a while, but worth it, cool standard trans.

Re: How about some pics of 67-72 Part II
Wow,I hope that will be a driver and not a trailer queen. I have a lot more fun driving to shows than I do showing it.

Here's my 67 swb that came as a bare bones project I picked up in December, Converted to 5 lug disc in front and swapped the rear axles to match. Installed a 454 / TH400. http://i62.tinypic.com/2mqrty9.jpg

first let me welcome to this great forum....looks like a good truck to start with and have fun with. the best place to start the build is to make it safe to drive around and make it stop good , then the rest can be done when you have the time and money ....good luck on your truck. |

Then, I'm going to have some lunch. Then, I'm taking your advice, Mud. I'm going to go for a long-long ride. It's almost time to take the tonneau off for the season. If I had some $$$$ to spare, it'd be about the motor today. But, the one in there's working fine. So, I'm off to chase the sun!!!!! :exit: |

I was debating myself on this all the way down to the striper...I had a "could look like this" I'd made up to give him, and didn't really know if I wanted to. I showed him and he wanted to do it. So, while he was at the side stripe, he did these: |

I'm 16 years old and this is my first truck. I looked for months with my dad until I found the perfect truck. Bought it today in Alabama and driving it to Florida, so far so good. Over 200 miles driven hasn't overheated once.
