I use an electric Jig Saw, and balanced them with some weights from old fans. I never throw things out.
Yeah, I wish I went with a 40'X40' Shop.

i think you could have these blades made in aluminium on a waterjet . that would take care of the balance , they look great they might just be a sell able item do a few of them like flames , hot rods , skulls , pinupgirls or the shops name who knows

That would be a good idea, but it would cost too much. Plus there is too many ways that they attach. Now to buy fans at wholesale, and make custom blades for them might be an idea. Maybe if I was younger. :uhmk:

When we moved into this house, we changed all the generic looking fans. I still have one left. I even added one on the patio cover. Now I'm thinking of doin the blades in my office. It still has the original fan in it.

I helped my friend trailer his 55 Studebaker truck home a few months ago. He's putting a S-10 frame under it now, and the wheels won't fit. They are 5x5.5, same as our trucks. So guess what??? They are goin on for sure. They are 17" Torque Thrust's. I'm trading him labor for the wheels. After I get them the Crager's will be up for sale. :metal::metal::metal:

I'm sure they are a 5 X 5.5 bolt pattern. The front wheels are 15" and are uni lug. The rears are 16" and is a direct fit.
Here's how you measure.

Here's how you measure.
http://waywardgarage.com/tech/tech-boltcircle.gif

Centerline of hub to centerline of lug bolt is how I measure and it is 2.5 inches. Or, 2.5 inches on the radius is 5 inches for the diameter. The pattern on every chevy truck rotor I have in the storage is 5 on 5. The 63-68 drums I have are 6 on 5.5.
I also have a set of 22" weels that have a dual pattern of 5 on 5.5 and 5 on 5 that I tried on my wifes 63 and the 5 on 5 is what goes on that truck....
I have never seen anyone measure a 5 lug like the diagram
