i like those door panels too. Tell us about them scottmo

I see they have 80's style window switches in them. They have to be custom. For fit to exept the arm rest, pocket, and light,

maybe

The door panels i made from some oem door panel i found at work,i had to cut
and section them as they were to big for the door size,i then mounted them
to a piece of luan and fiberglassed them smooth for the tweed to get laid on

Re: How about some pics of 67-72 Trucks

Okay I have learned there are some great people on this thread and willing to give great advise when asked. I am planning on getting the 72 in primer in about 3 to 4 weeks and at that time I am going to go ahead and paint the interior of the truck while I have it apart. I am thinking of the main color and interior color being a gun metal grey that would pop with a sunburst orange color and the top and hood color. Any suggestions on the grey color I should use or does anyone have a good photo of a real sharp grey color on a truck?
Thanks, Kyle

72blckbuty The drop is 3" drop tubular control arms with in the pics is 3" coils but i have now 2" coils. and the rear is the SUA which i was guessing around 5 inches if that sounds right

Thanks Blitz, that is a nice color on the truck. I am visioning something maybe darker in color but that would make a nice color and then maybe a lighter shade of orange.

You know what. I wanna say there's a thread around here somewhere that's JUST about Orange trucks. You could check that out. I hadn't looked for it yet myself.

My 68 C20 Camper special I just bought. Possibly going to put 2005 5.3 in, don't know for sure yet. Was all original when I bought it. Hadn't been run in twelve years. Runs now, R12 AC even works with no work on it.

Here are a few picks of my 1972 3/4 ton Cheyenne 4x4. It has a BB 454 w/ Holly 750 carb, Edelbrock manifold, Hooker headers, trans. oil cooler, B&M shift kit in tranny, Dana 60 rear end, dual batteries, 6" spring lift w/Weld rims, BFG All Terrains and alarm system. Interior has factory bucket seats and console, power steering, factory a/c, Cheyenne woodgrain door trim and Pioneer c/d player w/amp. It has been about a 4 year project.
