Boog, It's good jokes, but are you meaning to take pictures of your favorite posts from this thread a few days ago and repost?

Not sure how the tech works, but some knucklehead committed suicide a few years back by driving on one of our streets and ran himself into a block wall fence at 90-something MPH and killed himself. Somehow the police got his speed off the vehicle's memory? The people who lived in the house on that corner had chunks of concrete and glass thrown into their house from the crash. Lucky that no one in that house was killed. I don't ever want to live in a house on a corner, and that's not the only reason.

If you've bought a new vehicle since 2006 it's keeping tabs on you...

Remember, just because you're paranoid doesn't mean they're not out to get you.

No I'm not. I tend to forget where I saw them sometimes. Still good though.

Yes indeed they are watching! I had a friend who bought an 2006 GTO new and the following year later he broke a piston land while running it at the drag strip. He had to then limp the car around for 250 miles afterwards so the memory in the computer wouldn't show he had been driving aggressively, in order to be sure GM would honor the warranty.

Cars in 2000's had a limited amount of memory to store your driving patterns. I understand that is no longer true as the computers can now record up to 100k miles on some vehicles.

In the mid 1990's Mitsubishi started looking into SCCA results from autocross events for Mitsubishi drivers. When they found them they would send a letter canceling the warranty.

Mitsubishi went out and designed the Lancer EVO's to be competitive with Subaru WRX's but, they didn't want any of their customers to actually go out and compete with them.

They wanted their cake and wanted to eat it too! All they got was a lot of folks never buying a Mitsubishi again.

That's a travel adapter in case you have the money to go down under but you're too cheap to spend the money on an actual adapter.

It has been 6 months since I joined the gym without any real progress. I am going down tomorrow in person to see what the problem is.
