Right on. I have the mirror arm, literature, door plug.....and I feel like I'm missing something in a flat rate box. I'll have to get out early to load the truck and will take two trips into post office to unload.

Looking forward to them. Saw the one you posted earlier. Nice to see another fender mounted spare truck getting back on the road.

Heat index has been 105-115 lately down here. No fun until after 7pm.

Looking forward to seeing my harness today. Hope that UPS delivers as expected.

Hoping to get the engine fired in the next week. Man, I can't wait.

Harness's did show up Friday. And then it rained the next 36 hours. So....switched gears to the boat under the barn. Got the back half of the panels removed and recarpeted. Got the panels reinstalled yesterday and the new seats in. Still have to do the rod box and two forward decks / hatches.

Then back on the stepside. Got the forward harness installed and the harness mounted down. American Autowire did a great job on the harness. The alternator line now runs across the firewall and down the top of the passenger valve cover. Looks very clean and still retains the originality on the look of the harness. Very satisfied!!!

So just need to bleed clutch and brakes, add fluids and ready to fire.

Thanks guys. No new updates on the truck. Rain hasn't been playing nice for the couple of things I need to do under the truck.

Have gotten more boat work done though trying to stay busy at least. Ran out of light quick once that storm hit us last night. I'm pleased with the carpet so far, but its not an easy job. The glue bonds so quick once the carpet is laid on the panels. You don't have much time to work out wrinkles. Then its constant massage with a block of wood to keep it flat until the glue cures. Looks great, but a lot of follow up work once the carpets on. Looking forward to some fishing soon!!!

Thanks TJ. We've had some real abnormal weather this year. Pretty much skipped over spring and most days have been 15-20* over usual temps.

I know the boat isn't truck related, but keeps me busy either way.

Couple of projects wrapped up over the July 4th / B-day weekend. Also had a great bbq/ get together. Had 5 forum members there and 6 trucks. Waiting on pics from my neighbor who is a photographer.

Finished install on the hood harness. Got the truck cleaned up.

Finished the carpet on the boat and got it registered. Just need to replace the water pump and it'll be ready for the water.

And got the trailer parts pulled out and mocked up so I can see what I have and what I'll need. I have all the crossmembers and tail lights, so just looks like whatever I pick for flooring, paint and some new hardware and we should be in business.

And a few pics of the trailer bed....

The bed is off of old member Sharp40s Ol Johnny Lee which was wrecked due to a front end t-bone. I was able to salvage the bed and hood the rest was pretty bad off. The forward bed panel was shot.....this one is covered in surface rust but solid. The tailgate also didn't come with the bed....was picked up from Perro out in CA....real nice solid tailgate. (it may end up on the stepside and that tailgate on this project before I'm done with it.)

Worst damage is in pic 4....nice dent in the fender. Rest will work great for a matching trailer.

Thanks Don. Its hard to keep up with all the projects sometimes. The trailer project has been a pile of parts up until last night. Nice to see it reassembled. Don't know why Rich blew it all apart, but works for me.

Thanks TJ.

Tried to call Rich last week and his number has changed. He lives around 45 min north west of me, so I may just have to take the gamble and drive up and hope to catch him at the house.

Looking forward to the trailer project. Sorry I didn't make it out Monday. I ended up not getting my neighbors jeep back up either. We broke a bolt. I should be up and around on Saturday afternoon. I have a late flight Friday night.
