The sign looks like it says "Paul Bunyan's Pine". *searches Google* Whoa. I found a few pics on Getty image's website. You know they disable right clicks, so I can't directly link them here. I found one of the Paul Bunyan Pine truck & found others of GM trucks.

If you like this sort of thing, here is some interesting reading regarding Red River Lumber Company.
http://www.citlink.net/~lahontan/redriver.htm As I understand it this picture was probably about the time they were switching from railroad to trucks. It appears Red River followed the path of so many lumber empires of the day. |

The picture in NoStopN's 2nd link is showing a '62 or '63 Chevy, Spoke Wheels, Tandem Axle and looks like it has Air Brakes.
Picture in the 3rd link is a '62 or '63 GMC. Could be a 6500. |

74 Chevy owned by Dan Van Ness of Columbus ,Oh. area, pictured at Ohio Vintage Jamboree at Ashland fairgrounds this past weekend. Dan says 7 year project, repowered with 8V92T from military surplus .
With the high cab, hood is well over 6' high. |
