Cleaned up the shop, and slapped the front end on with a few bolts to make room. I'm tempted to get it running and drive it while I'm working on the body. But I really need to restore the frame and bag it first and then do that.

What do you think of me putting Mustang tail lights side ways on my truck. With LED's of course.

Re: 1965/73 Cheap Build Up
They'll work nicely!

Re: 1965/73 Cheap Build Up
I wanted something from Chevy, or Corvette, but I think these look pretty good for Ford Lights. :metal:

Wife and I are as anti-mustang/camaro as you can get. At the Goodguys show last August we were walking around pointing at the 'stangs and 'maros and saying out loud "OH LOOK ! A __________ wow you just dont see many of those any more !!!" Heh good times ! |

what an overrated tin turd that 68 was/is. Then I found out they made half a million a year and I wonder... "so what makes these things rare or valuable?" So I started the He-man Mustang haters club.... :) My 97 dually has a "mustangs suk" bumpersticker:lol: :5150: |

so people don't think I am only negative, being a mustang hater and all, I"ll throw out this suggestion.
67 'vette tail lights. Turned 90 degrees. That way they follow the same angle as the fender. 2 stacked wouldn't be over the top and they are cool looking... Just a suggestion.. :5150: |

Re: 1965/73 Cheap Build Up
For the record Dennis, I think the stang lights would look pretty cool.
Especially if you wired them to come on sequentially from the bottom up, the way they did on (oh hell I forget what year that was, but the '69 cougars did the same thing...) Even to this day mustangs and camaros are insanely popular. Almost to the point where, in my honest and humble opinion, they and trailer queen show cars should be in classes all by them selves. No matter what, it seems every car show there is going to be at least one of each rolling across the winner lawn. I am just saying..... |
Re: 1965/73 Cheap Build Up
Yeah the LEDs have that sequential option. Still on the fence what to use.:uhmk:
