Been busy with school lately but got some work done on the truck today. Made a filler panel to cover up where the gas filler neck used to be. Still needs to be welded in place.

Looks great man, I know your pain but its just something we have to do no matter how much we want to work on our trucks instead of being at school.

No I haven't unfortunately. lol Spring, summer and fall are my busy times for the truck...especially since I have paint and body work to do. But this time of year it's to cold out. lol

exams are finally over and I can get back on the truck:metal: but first I had another project to tackle that I thought I'd show you guys. Just bought this really clean 94 Honda xr100 for $400! Runs really well and all it needed was a exhaust heat shield. Made one today and decided to get fancy and printed out a Honda logo template and then painted it on. Turned out pretty good

As someone who has ridden bikes since age 14, I can only approve.

And these little Hondas go well.

I've been outta touch with your build since page 1...:waah:

It's great to catch up and see all you've accomplished.:metal: I really dig the maple knobs and the rear bumper mod… Truly appreciate seeing the "outside the box" thinking...;)

Hats off to your Dad for Parenting done Right!!! Great to see you and others your age out here getting after these old trucks… Keep up the great work and if I can offer any advice, chase your passion in whatever arena and you will never say, "dang I gotta work again today…"

One parting thought… Stay warm and get the truck time in… although our winters here are interesting, weather wise, it's hard to blame the weather all the time… One week ago I woke up to this…

…and today is forecast to be sunshine and 61F… Welcome to Arkansas!

thanks for all the compliments and wise advise Don! thinking outside the box and customizing is the best part of these trucks! I'm very thankful that my dad got me involved in all of this at a young age, i cant imagine how different my life would be if i didn't have this passion.
the weather will get better soon enough!

Just picked up some tires do a great deal last night. Almost brand new bfgoodrich premier touring radials for $100! They were just really dirty. This morning I went outside to look at them in the daylight and clean them. When cleaning them I discovered they were actually whitewalls! I had wanted whitewalls the whole time but I thought I couldn't afford them.

got some work done on the truck yesterday. pushed it outside and got busy welding. welded in the filler neck patch, the door corner and a bedside patch. didn't get a chance to grind the welds down because it started snowing. ran into something odd on the door. looks like the factory put a thick layer of bondo on. it was under the factory primer.
