Nope...not John Deere green. Its actually alot darker than the pics show. My buddy ownes a hot rod shop and he helped me come up with the color. |
Re: '49 chevy with s-10
I love the look of this truck. I'm started a 1st 55 this fall. I'm using a S-10 too. But a short bed Reg cab I got with it. I'm in the middle of stretching it now. If I knew what the "correct" or true center was , I could set it up when I fit the pieces in the splice. Any updates on your truck ?

Re: '49 chevy with s-10
Im using a tri-4 link , I should be able to get it close. I going to mount the box and cab close together too. Have you mount the under dash master assembly yet ? I wanted to use one them but filling and room has me thinking about a firewall mount .

Re: '49 chevy with s-10
I guess I did see those pics now that I looked at them again. Did you make the top bracket ? What brand and number shock is that ? I have a Ride Tech upper that use the eyelet or bolt through type shock but the bracket looks thinner the the S10 frame .

Re: '49 chevy with s-10
Quick question,
Im using a S10 front clip and a Mustang rear end. Does anyone know if i can change the bolt pattern on them? if so? how? |

Or you can have your S10 rotors redrilled to Ford pattern.Yuck.lol Just kidding but you can do that if thats an option for you. As you can see in the pic below my new rotors came with Ford 5 on 4 1/2 and Chevy 5 4 3/4 bolt patterns. They also came with 7/16 Chevy studs and 1/2 Ford studs http://farm9.staticflickr.com/8479/8...86ff0599bd.jpg |
Re: '49 chevy with s-10
thanks BAM we can always count on you.
where did you buy the rotors? and did you request the bolt patterns? |
