Re: My Daughters First Truck
Man this is awsome. My daughter and I have just started on her 66 GMC short step. She is 13 and I have had the truck for a while and when I went to sell it she said she wanted it. That is a moment that make a daddy proud when the princess wants a classic truck and wants to help you build it. Gotta go wipe the tears from my eyes now. Gonna follow this post. Good Luck and Good Job.

Re: My Daughters First Truck
Hey 4d, I have been following your progress, seat is awesome, and nice work overall. You may recall that I put up a video of my daughter driving my truck for the first time back in May... she is pretty excited to dig in and help with my projects this winter, cheers!

Re: My Daughters First Truck
Just keep in mind that you don't have to cut the cab to fit the patch panel. Only cut out as much of the cab as you need to, to get into good solid weldable metal. Then trim the patch panel to fit the opening in the cab.
I really like the seat :) |

I'm jealous... I have 5 girls and 1 boy and if it doesn't have Snooki or Honey Boo Boo they aren't interested in it... Sigh
