Re: Trucks Are Beautiful
I like that green Freightliner.
Ooooh,Walters. I haven't even gotten to those beasts yet. Aren't they something? I saw my first one, that I know of,in '09 at a show. It I think I showed it near the beginning of this thread. It was a military truck they mounted a jet engine on the back to dry runways,I was told. The show was a quagmire from rain the whole time. There was a vendor with a semi stuck bad. That thing just walked it out like it was a Geo. |

Re: Trucks Are Beautiful
Special K and everybody else Awesome thread. I cant wait to show my dad he is a old trucker. Post #107 by BHburban of the 76 bandag truck I sat in that truck when I was 10 years old and saw it race at the Ontario Motor speed way in Ca. (tore down in 80's) That was one awesome truck. My dad had a friend that owned a trucking Co in Ontario Ca and that the truck was parked at before the races started.
We met the driver and he signed autographs it was totaly cool for a 10 year old. I dont know if I have any pictures but I will check. I also had the hot wheel. I have some cool old photos of my das truck back in the day I see if I can get them posted |
