Re: Thread #2: Early Hauler Pictures...
I had to go back and find what that comment was made over. It's the headlights. I see a lot of folks wanting to put the headlights in the fenders of cars and trucks of this era. I wouldn't. I like the style they are as is. I don't let bugged out headlights bother me. I let modified lights into the fenders bother me...because I'm me. Make sense?

I see a lot of customized cars from this era with lights moved into the fenders and think it looks like Volkswagen headlights. I just like them as they are for what they are. Like this:

G'day Special-k,
Please excuse my novicity, but going back and looking at that black pickup in question with the inset headlights, I'm wondering if it has been nosed and had one of the horizontal grill bars removed? I am not overly familiar with these models. I do like the over all look of it as a whole. Posted via Mobile Device |

Yeah, that thing is really custom. It has been sectioned as well as putting the lights into the fenders. It's all very tastefully done and is a great look, actually. I don't hate it,just not right for me. I'm more of a mild custom guy, when going custom at all. I always liked the look of a '40 Ford pickup. To me,this Chevy has shades of that in it.

Re: Thread #2: Early Hauler Pictures...
Can someone enlarge these please?

I wish I could help on the enlargement. If it's still on Ebay you can do it all over again larger. Click on the picture to enlarge, then copy. What I do is leave the listing and come back for each picture,so it's the first one I enlarge that I am copying. I end up with a whole page of crap thumbnails for each picture, find the actual picture (there is one that is full size) by double clicking each one till I find the full-size one, then I "move to another folder",then click back to where the original image(s) is just highlighted and I delete it.
