I'm tempted to do the same. to me laying frame is the supreme low... but there is a nice peace of mind knowing you can blow a bag on the road and not be laid out on the concrete. :chevy:

if you z it you gonna have to make the tubs bigger...you wouldnt be able to go much bigger and still be able to use them

im loving this thread! i like how you did the tub on the front too i think it looks so much better than taking the inner fenders out. i REALLY want to start working on my truck noww

i ended up finding another 454 that was pulled from a running truck a buddy of mine had.. so i cleaned it up. painted it and started bolting some goodies on it..

Giving me some ideas there, I have a 63 (long bed) I need to start working on (sorry no pics yet in the middle of buying a house and the 63 is in a friends shop)I was gonna do a 5/7 static drop but I'm digging your's! thanx guys. when i first bought the truck i planned on just doin a static drop and a few other things to get it driveable but this project just turned into a giant snowball.. lol
