I have also heard that it should be measured at ride height ...not sure which is correct though. I could not lower my engine or the rack would hit.

I think you will have the same gap as I currently do when you swap to the Fbody pan. What tranny are you running? I'm using a 4L60E. Right now I'm setting everything back up the way I had it when I first did my measurements, and rechecking everything.

I'm using a 700r4 trans.....that sounds like a good plan , hope it all works out.

Thanks! When are you swapping your pan out? I got the new motor trusses and will try to get them installed this weekend.

Dang brother. This is a great starter truck for a new driver:(
I totally understand. I have two kids myself. It was tough handing over the keys to both of them. BTW, they both drive chevy trucks...just saying.

this is the second time this has happened to me, I read an entire thread that I hadn't seen and when I get to the end, the truck is getting sold...... bummer. I say keep it, but I also know the thoughts that go through your head when you hand the keys over to someone.....

great build

It hasn't sold yet, so we'll keep working on it until it does or it's done, :D.

High hump is mounted, and the cab is back on.......looks like a truck now instead of a bunch of part, :metal:
