I would like some info on my 65 Suburban, if possible. I know this is for 66 models, but...

It's a 65 Suburban, built in Fremont.
That's all I know. I would love to know where it was sold, but without any build sheet or other paperwork it's impossible My dad bought it in 1976 from the original owner, in Scottsdale, AZ if that helps any.

mine is C1465Z118017,not that far apart.

it was bought in scottsdale originally from Ray Korte Chev.
there werent that many chevy dealers in phx area back in 65, Ray Korte in scottsdale and Courtesy chev in phx and i think it was Brown and Hoye in Glendale.

I remember Ray Korte. I also remember when Brown & Hoye became Brown & Brown in Mesa(where we lived). Too bad they dont have records dating back that far.

Or start a new thread "Does anyone have a Z code '64 model year?" if you get no traction here. The 59,704 truck built in Fremont seems very late in the year still with the H code, leads me to believe Z was first used for the '65 model year.

Been searching off and on today and yes the Z code was for the start of the `65 model year....

My dash cluster has a red ink stamp on the back of it April`64, so given that sub assembly parts to be installed two weeks to one month on the line, May even June build period.
