Mike, do you have any details on how you ran the rear e-brake cables?

I have the same rear brake setup and was looking at the Wilwood "universal" e-brake cable kit. I see you put the trailing arms on so the clip was on the inside. Any details would help greatly, thx, D'

Sure, I swapped the trailing arms from left to right, as you pointed out. Part of the reasoning was the way I ran my exhaust tucked up between the frame rails, there was no good path to run the brake cables. Also, I plan on running the tailpipes along the outside of the trailing arms, as I'm planning on it exiting just in front of the rear tires. Currently I just have turn downs after the mufflers.

The Wilwood universal kit you referred to is the same as the Lokar kit I used. (Lokar actually makes the kit for Wilwood) You will also need the forward brake cable and then adapt it to your factory parking brake pedal/lever, part # EC-8001U. Here's a link to it on the Lokar website: http://lokar.com/product-pgs/ebrake-...h-ebrakes.html

Let me know if this info helps. I'll look through some more pics also to see if I have anything else for a visual.

Thanks,

Thx, Id be very interested in pics of where the front to rear cable mount come together, and I assume the lokar EC800U1 is a one piece from handle down to the rears clevis mount? As I don't have the parts a visual would be greatly appreciated. D'

And yea, where did the exhaust end up????

Found this pic of how the exhaust is ran. Kind of shows the preliminary routing of the park brake cables. I ended up mounting them to the bottom of the cab floor and then route up thru the factory firewall hole.

Had a great time at the Lane Automotive Show last weekend. They picked our truck to be on the dash plaques and handed out 1,000 of them! Also met CherieLynn Westrich from Overhaulin' and Miss Painless Performance Veronica Jensen.Attachment 1408686

Truck turned out really nice. Have you been driving much? If so, how are you suspension parts working out?

The truck rides better than my '03 Silverado in all aspects: steering, braking, ride comfort, etc. Starting to play around with different spring rates and thinking about changing out the QA1's for RideTech shocks.

If you need any assistance dialing in spring rates, let me know. I would be happy to help!

Thanks Chase! I'm running 200# springs in the rear at the moment, but have some 250# springs waiting to go in. I'll be heading to Bowling Green, KY next week for the Ron Sutton Race Technology workshop and after that I'm ditching the large cap HEI and going with an MSD setup. We'll see how time goes this winter and hopefully I'll have the RideTech shocks in place for next season.

Made it back from Kentucky, the truck ran great as usual. Made a stop in Jasper and took a tour through Ridetech, awesome place and really liked what I saw! Here's a few pics from the trip. Had a great time at Ron Sutton's workshop also!

On another note, our C10's engine bay made the cover of the Motorstate Distributing 2016 Engine Builder catalog! It's the lower right pic.

A little more in the spotlight for out little C10. We made it into the CARS, INC. 2016 Calendar. Stay tuned as we begin phase 2 of our project and take it from a sporting street cruiser to several stages of prep for full on Autocross. Project G-TR 2.0 coming soon!

I didn't know they had them already available to order, but they did send me a handful of them. I may order some to have extras to give out at the local shows, etc.
