Thanks Dan.

I built the truck close to show quality with no corners cut but for solely outdoor purposes….fishing, hunting, trail riding, camping, four wheeling, etc. If I smash it, scratch it, break it…no too big of deal…I built it myself and I can do it again. I just can’t do that with my new Silverado very easily and economically.

This old pig has A/C, Cruise, XM radio and almost any amenity you would want and still out wheel any brand new four wheel drive truck on the market yet for a fraction of the price and still look socially acceptable doing it without looking like some kind of redneck or yuppie wanna be fourwheeler.

A 12,000 lb Mile Marker hydraulic winch and Detroit lockers are on the list of things to come in 2004.

Dirty larry

What sized tires are on your tow truck? i really like the look of that truck with the bigger, meaty tires.

My old 78’ K20 tow truck?

Those are 9.00 16 Gateway’s (An old military tire size somewhat equivalent to a 33X9.16) If I remember correctly these Gateway’s were basically the 10 ply tube type industrial version of GroundHawgs . The tow truck was purchased new as a regular K20 by my dad back in 1977 then he added the “KING” brand slide in tow truck gear. As of today, the truck is in desperate need of a restoration and sitting in my yard awaiting attention.

This picture was taken around 1991

Larry, you have the nicest rides!!! What axles are in the blue truck?
