Nice work! :metal: Removing the wiring from the top of the firewall looks real clean.

It was a chore to reroute it with the stock wiring. I would love to have had time to build a custom harness.

I still have a few things to wrap up before this one hits the market. We will install more sound deadner, and the new carpet kit. Now we can spend some time tuning the stereo, and finish up the a/c duct work as well. I have a fresh dash pad to dye and install as well.

Under the hood I want to double check all of the nuts and bolts now that its had some road time. Even though the cooling system was flushed when the new radiator was installed, I'm still getting brown water in the tank. I plan to run another flush kit through it, and cycle the system till clean.
I will replace all of the O-rings and recharge the a/c system with a fresh round of 134. That should make it ready for the next owner to enjoy cruising in comfort with no worries about reliability..

Thats been my intentions from the beginning. To satisfy my OCD I decided to buy, build, and sell a select few trucks that I have always wanted to own.

My apologies Jeff. I had hoped to get some better quality pics than what I have already. Unfortunately I got sick last week, and didnt get to spend any time in my shop this weekend.

I had planned to pull the seat and box to install the carpet kit. Since that didnt happen, heres what I have now. I promise to get better ones to soon.

HOW did you get the wires hidden so well?! I wish mine looked like that.. can you snap some more detail pictures? That's always what I've wanted to do but IDK where to start.

The Sierra was very well received at the LST show. I spent the weekend answering questions and enjoying compliments from some very high profile builders. Chris and I were elated that we had made it with no issues on the road. We enjoyed the show and I took a LOT of pics of all the cool classic trucks at the show. Those can be found on my Instagram feed, but heres a few from the show of the Sierra. Enjoy....

Unfortunately its almost impossible to photograph what we did because its wrapped in tape or loom. We pulled each set of wires and separated them from the factory bundles. Then we cleaned them thoroughly and layed them out to determine the best route.

I tried to avoid splices, but had to in some cases to improve the flow. Once we had everything rerouted we wrapped each run separately with fresh tape. Its best done with two people so one can hold it tight while the other wraps the wires.

It was tedious work, but well worth the effort.

Thanks. When I install the new carpet kit, I will line inside the storage with carpet as well. That should give it a more finished look.

Heres one last update before I close the book of "Refining Sierra". We spent the last few weekends finishing up minor details that had been put aside due to time constraints.

We did a complete clean up and analyzed all of our work to ensure everything was still working as intended. One last pass under the dash and we installed the pieces of A/C duct that got left behind in our rush. Everything looked good under there. We followed up with a final tune on the sound system called it done.

To double check our work, Chris and i went to a ST Judes fund raiser with my Relaxed Atmosphere brothers, and enjoyed a great day in the sun.

Time to wrap up this chapter "Refining Sierra" . Last week Chris and I did one final pass over the checklist. I had replaced all of the "O" rings in the A/C system, and had it recharged. It was updated with 134A and it works excellent.
Everything worked as intended, so it was time to say goodbye. Saturday morning I got her out for one last photo shoot, then loaded her on a trailer to head to her new home. I'm going to miss this pretty lady.

I hope you were able to get your truck to high ground. I've lived in Cypress over 35 years and it has never been this bad. Looks like you sold "Project Sierra" just in time.

This one was a learning experience for my nephew, so the rewards were huge. Profit? not so much. ;)

Scoti I'm not sure if Randy the new owner has an account here. I did send him a link to this thread, so maybe he will speak out.

SHILOW it was pretty crazy, but we stayed high and dry. It was the worst I had seen in my 15 years here. I didnt know I had a squarebody buddy out here. We need to get acquainted.

I just bought a 2016 Sierra to replace my 2013 Sierra. I need to get the 13 cleaned up and put on the market. I'm looking for a 99-09 gen truck for my nephew, and trying to buy a new truck for my service manager.

Beyond that I plan to back to my 77 which has the interior gutted. So I really dont "need" another project right now. I will probably wait till I get caught up before moving on to the next one.

At least that's what I tell my wife...;)

Stunning job w/ this one - understand your time constraint, but your attention to detail is second to none.

Bet the new owner is enjoying this one!
