Re: post latest 1/4 and 1/8 mile times and 60ft.

wish i could get a tire with that big of a foot print under mine, on a good day (not a 100 degrees) do you hook good, if you do what air pressure are you running and what kind of a burnout do you do? hope I'm asking to many questions, just trying to get these radial figured out.

Re: post latest 1/4 and 1/8 mile times and 60ft.

Flip,

What radial do you have?
What size wheel?
What pressure you running?
What about shocks and springs?

275/60/15 m/t pro radial, 8 inch wheel, seems to hook the best at 16 psi, shocks are just Monroe gas , and springs are 4 inch lowering springs from ccp on the rear, and Monroe gas with drop spindles and 1 inch lowering springs in the front, basically stock suspension. not relly a drag truck but we do take it to a lot of test and tune nights mostly street driven.

It hook decent on a prepped track I dead hooked on a 125 shot, 18 psi, a small burn out seams like it works

I took the '72 out for it's first passes with the 496 I built 2 years ago. Truck pulls great but needs a converter swap, it's way too tight. I also took it across the scales and it weighed 4480 lbs with me in it.
