Thanks! Here are a couple of shots my buddy took near the 7th Street Theater art deco building in Chino, CA. and one at the Trucks and Tacos get-together at Prado.

I was asked to put my C10 in the background of a music video shoot last month with my buddy's '69 Firebird. The video was released today.

Man! I just looked through this thread. You built an awesome truck! You even have me thinking about painting mine green now. I am green with envy! Just beautiful and great work too!

Trust me, green ROCKS! (I probably don't need to say what color mine is...)

Thank you! It's parked at the Grand National Roadster Show this weekend as part of the Keep on Truckin' exhibit.

I got to catch up with my friend, Emily Sherer, at this year's Grand National Roadster Show. She took a break from her booth duties for Anvil Speed Shop to take a cool impromptu revisited pic 3 years apart.

Being out of the country for the month of March, I finally got to drive the C10 this past weekend. In my distraction of driving the truck for the first time since the February Grand National Roadster Show, I almost ran her out of gas on the way home Sunday. LOL

I enjoyed looking through this tread. I got here because the 250 my '66 GMC blew a head gasket and I'm debating whether to fix it or drop in a good running 389 from a '64 Catalina.. Can you tell me if the perches and motor mounts are in the right spot or what you had to do to get the Pontiac engine to sit right under the hood? The truck is a 3 speed on the column and so was the car so I have the bell housing and fork. Please respond here if you want or PM.. Thanks in advance..

Re: Intro and Some Photos of my '63 Project

Thanks! That bellhousing is worth its weight in gold. Yeah, I would opt for the Pontiac if still available...a little more of an aftermarket support for parts, etc. In your case, it might be easier to go with an engine mount setup (block and frame) similar to the ones available for the 64-72 Tempest, Lemans, GTO. You may have to modify the frame mount, but it should get you close without having to reinvent the wheel, so to speak.
