Posted via Mobile Device Well the pics keep posting small. I'll figure out what I'm doing wrongvandvrepost them. Pm me your cell or email and I'll send them to you that way. I had to modify the original brackets because of my notch. I had alreadty welded in PB notch so Scott's bracket wouldn't clear. I like the look of the bags behind the axle but that meant I had to cut out the notch and put Scott's notch in...... |
Re: 68 Burb... here we go!!
thanks that helps. I already figured i would mount the pan hard bar on the drivers side. thanks for the help

Re: 68 Burb... here we go!!

Re: 68 Burb... here we go!!
I have not spent much time on the burb lately as we have been working hard on my nova. Engine is built, ordered a few more goodies for her and so we are waiting till next week. I hung the front clip and started on the Porterbuilt hood hinges. Install was easy so far. Tomorrow I will install the hood and go from there. I just need an extra pair of hands to install it.

Re: 68 Burb... here we go!!
Juan,
That thing is sick! Makes my burb look like a monster truck. Good work man! Steve |
Re: 68 Burb... here we go!!
Thanks Steve. Between you and rob your burbs inspired me to build one.
I got my hood mounted today and snapped some pics. I'm happy with the way PB hood hinges Installed and work. The front clip is just lightly bolted in place. I'll finish up a patch I have to do on the fire wall, then start the body work on it. http://i891.photobucket.com/albums/a...o/fe40d0a1.jpg http://i891.photobucket.com/albums/a...o/7816e34c.jpg Posted via Mobile Device |

The roof is too big not to use as storage. Once I get it out of the garage and clean up that will all change.

http://i891.photobucket.com/albums/a...o/c07eaeeb.jpg Well I picked up some new wheels today. I have a client that is redoing a really nice 68 am these wheels were on it. He hates them. He ordered TT2's and so I picked these up for a song. I will be polishing these up to see what they look like. I haven't done anything on the burb I've been working hard on the nova. That is almost done so I'll be working on the burb soon. Posted via Mobile Device |
Re: 68 Burb... here we go!!
20x8.5 and 20x10. Tires are nice with a good amount of tread left. 285/30/20 and 255/35/20 Bridgestone's.
