finished grinding down the plate that i cut out to box my lower arms in with, and picked this up for $10 to replace the one in my burb, and yes i know it is for a 67-68 gmc and it is in better shape than mine minus the part where the hood pin thing goes in the center but i will remove that from mine and install it on that one, will probably also gut the handle and move it over or use part of the one from the one it is replacing so that it is not offset

Re: The '67 Burb Build Thread
it must be a pain to jack up somthin this low
|
Re: The '67 Burb Build Thread
lol. if the suspension is aired up it isnt a problem, but this time it was because my dads little compressor took a dump, and it was sitting on the ground. good thing i have no floor in the back haha. but still was a pain in the a$$, and took forever. had to use 2 bottle jacks and some 2x4's just to get it high enough to get the floor jack under it from the side as i couldnt get to the back of it either.
|
Re: The '67 Burb Build Thread
dayum!
|
Re: The '67 Burb Build Thread
hahaha thats what i said when the compressor took a dump. guess i need to invest in a good portable one or something for now lol.
|
Re: The '67 Burb Build Thread

Re: The '67 Burb Build Thread
try jacking the truck up when its dumped, with flat tires, and in the grass! talk about a pita!!
|
Re: The '67 Burb Build Thread
haha no thanks, but at least you can get to the back lol.
|
Re: The '67 Burb Build Thread
ņo offense at all but this is one reason why i am glad my six seven isnt lowered..... all though i might end up lowering it a little.....time will tell.....
|
Re: The '67 Burb Build Thread
haha its ok, the only reason why i had such a hard time is because i couldnt get to the back lol.

Re: The '67 Burb Build Thread

Re: The '67 Burb Build Thread
do you already have the a/c stuff for inside the dash? (center vent and other vent)
|
Re: The '67 Burb Build Thread

|
Re: The '67 Burb Build Thread
