well, i didn't get a lot done this weekend, but i did get a cab dolly rolling today.

it ain't real pretty, but it is strong, free, and functional, so.........

since I took these I welded some gussets on where the cab mounts to the dolly.....
I'll get pics of those tomorrow ;)

gotta call them this next week. i'm thinking maybe I should remove the rockers first also, not sure

If I had it to do again, I would cut the outer rockers off at least. You can see what was behind mine when I cut them off.

I'm with Alan on the rockers. I'd take the outers off before taking it in to a blaster.

Looks good Joe... I noticed on your tunnel that the upper section is not spot welded in. Is that how the 4-5-6 trucks are? Here is mine after I drilled out all the spots to change to the low tunnel. Just curious if 60-62 did this different.

I believe in the 4-5-6 trucks, the low hump is made into the floor and the high hump is bolted to the floor......not sure.
My father in law cut out the floor and put in the bolt-in high hump when he installed the 283/sm465 combo, many years ago.
