Re: "Rice Rocket'

Well, I hate toyotas designs.

I changed the trans filter/oil in the tundra today. Had to remove the swaybar to drop the pan completely. Ruined a nice shirt in ATF was covered in the crap...

Oh well its over now

Earned 20$ in free stuff from autozone today too! Im going to buy some new plug wires for a 76 vette and run em under the exhaust manifolds.

Also got some new NGK TR5 plugs today (old ones were firing backwards on #8 on sparkplug tester) (SUPER old champion thing at the local shadtree shop, he has alot of vintage cool tools/etc)

Gonna get my oil leaks fixed (Rtv leaking on rera of intake manifold, plastic oil guage line leaks, and maybe a rear main i cant tell because the intake leak).

Gonna wait to install my plugs till I get some new wires (the wires I got came on a parts truck I bought a few years ago, they looked cool cuz they were red LOL)

No telling what condition they are

Ricky is supposed to be gettin me a in bed mounted spare tire carrier!!!!!! HURRY BUDDY!

Gotta order some trim clips for the door/cab corner trim. Adj hood/driver door

Washed the windows and the wheels with boiling hot water from the bathtub (hose water too dang cold!) cleaned the windows played with my throttle linkage custom built a few lil things to make it work better.

Ordered soem vette wires from autozone, got new ngk plugs waiting to go in with the wires. gonna run em in under the manifolds, I might have to keep waiting and get some brackets too.

Gonna tryn pickup some copper oil pressure line, my plasic line leaks and i need to fix all my oil leaks..

Re: "Rice Rocket'

Good progress! Yeah I own two 'Yota's and for now have prepaid maintenance, I dread the day I gotta start doing my own service on them.
Usually the parts stores carry the oil line set/kit around the gauges and performance/dress up stuff.

Re: "Rice Rocket'

Yeah, I bought a 2nd plastic line kit (cause thats what I had before). I should've bought the copper :( oh well.

Yotas are tough lil vehicles. This was the 1st trans filter/oil change in 150 000 miles....outside of a rubber band (timing belt) and regulator maintenance they are tough cars/truckc

Working on cleaning my engine bay up (tidy like)

Still not sure about PCV (if I can route it to the rear of the carb)

I put my vac adv to a port behind the carberator

Can I run my PCV to a T on the power brake line? Or to the port im using now for full manifold vacumn?

Ignore the temporary vacumn cap/hose screw, its temporary till I can get a real CAP

Re: "Rice Rocket'
