Well, today I received a almost new alt bracket for the drivers side of the engine. Painted them up with gloss black paint. I also got a new gas pedal and bezel and wiper arms. I need to polish the arms a little. I will go and pick up my wiring harness tomorrow.

Re: 1968

Installed the correct arm for the alt. The one I had on the truck was a little short. I figured it was a after market one. I got one from a fellow board member and now it is correct and have a lot of adjustment left on the arm. the other one was all the way out.
I didn't get the wiring harness today. It will come in on Thursday. Then I will start getting the harness ready for the install. A friend from Lutz said that he would help me install it in my truck. The light is getting a little brighter at the end of the tunnel....................................

I had to pull the steering wheel back off the truck. The bottom tabs were broke off, so the horn cup has to be replaced, Just my luck.

It's only upside down when you are looking at it. I took the wheel back off. The locking tabs on the horn cup was broken, so I am sending it back to the original owner. I will continue my search again tonight.

Broke down and bought a new brown wood grain leather steering wheel tonight. Be here Friday. I just got tired of trying to find the horn cup for the blazer steering wheel. I will order an adaptor hub also when I get my refund which is in the mail for the used blazer steering wheel. I will post pictures when it arrives.

yea isn't that the truth,

bumper, wiring harness Oh I didn't tell you about that. I worked on it for about 4 hours and then grabbed it and put it in a box to be never used again. I found a wiring harness from rebel that I will be ordering soon. now the steering wheel. I cut my losses on the wheel and got a new one coming Wednesday. Me and used parts just don't mix.

In a few years those boys will be asking for the keys and be really eager to run to the store for gallons of milk, eggs, or whatever your wife wants them to get just to drive the truck around town. Can't hardly blame them.

Today it was a rainy day. So I didn't do anything on the truck. I did get a chrome dual return spring and attachment for the carburetor. Real nice set up. I got the wiring harness coming it should be here in a few days. Then the fun starts.
