I took out a girl on a date once. ..Pretty much the same deal. :lol:

I'm actually not 100% kidding. I had an apartment when I was about 19 and this cute girl lived 2 doors down from me and she seemed really interested in me. So, I'm thinking "Hey Now" :D

But the thing was. She smelled weird. Not like regular B O . Just this weird smell. Her apartment smelled weird. Like funky old cheese. So I backed off . She kind of chased me around for a while but I just couldn't get past that smell.

Maybe this is the new norm, but it was the first time I've seen it done. Dude with the wheelbarrow would spread the coating, then hover board guy would cruise around and do a fantastic job with his squeegee. I saw no squeegee marks or ridges. That stuff went on smooth. Those guys know what they are doing. (least I think so)

Re- cycling at its finest. I remember about 15 years ago when it was first parked there. I've never inquired as to why the bike is there. I figured it was one of those things where someone went to jail and was told that "Your bike will be here when you get out" kind of thing.

I had one 1988 model Kawasaki Voyager the air ride system was a nightmare. Most likely why it was parked .

That's some mighty fine equipment there.

This picture didn't come out right, so I'll have to explain. I didn't expect the sign to reflect in broad daylight. I took the picture because it says Hog Maw Road. It's not all that far from Frog Eye Road, either

in an attempt to beat the stupid heat, been taking the dawgs out at nite.
only prob is up for like 20 hrs (start work at 4 am). up in the mountains last nite, was so tired i climbed in the back of the truck and had a power nap...when i woke up to my dawgs barking (a deer) it was almost light out. was nice watching the world wake up though

Hard to see but this is my Tarantula Lucy with her new rock. The old one was too steep for her. She kept falling off. :lol:

So I got her a more user friendly one and she's been sleeping on it all day.:)

Used to take my kids just up the hill in the fall when they migrate to find mates to catch one for show and tell.

Now that I got reminded, I'll have to take the grandkids up to get one. We got lots of them around here.

They're around here too. I caught her in my backyard. She just walked right up to me. Now she's spoiled with free food and a nice tank to crawl around in.

I try to play with her but she ignores me. Kind of like my dogs...And my wife.

It really was a cool gig for her. She grew up in this town, Friendsville, MD. I believe she is the eldest resident. The Friend Family Assoc. has their museum and library in the old bank building and my mom ran it right up until it's temporary closure due to covid. They call her the town historian. We are related to John Friend, first settler in the region (1765) at the location that became Friendsville. A couple years ago the DAR presented her an award for the work she has done for the community. John and John Jr both fought in the Revolutionary War.

The Vette on trailer had me scratching by head. Runs hot going slow? I dunno. Not a good way to "show off". More like embarrassing. Did they at least drive it to the parade? A nice car like that should be hauled in an enclosed trailer :lol:
