Re: Tootsie build for my mother with cancer

I have gone over board on this truck. Its hard to believe that this frame will be back together by the end of the month and ready for the body. We will see Mario Travis and I are pushing like crazy. Should have all the parts back by middle of next week then I will put it together

Re: Tootsie build for my mother with cancer

Thanks Rus I am proud of this truck many people on the board have supported us and reached out. That to me is what its all about. I figure might as well go all out because I am taking a brake from building for a while. My wife has put here foot down. I need to be at home more and she is right. I will have delmo build the crewcabs body and I will do the frame. But that build will be slow and steady. If I have a little extra cash I will throw it at the truck. If I dont it will sit

Re: Tootsie build for my mother with cancer

Ok guys I have the motor trans and rear end preped and ready for paint. This is the one off horn button I has made for the truck. It's not polished yet. The one off exhaust ports are done too. They will be polished and the ball milled line will be striped to match the trim. I will be making one off billet a-arms for the truck. I will be starting a company called tootsies speed shop and I will be selling the a arms and a lot of the parts I am having made for the truck like the exhaust ports. So I will keep you guys posted

Have you thought about making the modified rear wheel wells for the rear dropmembers and raised bed floors. This would be good for us guys with limited metal working skills.

Huge thanks to Mario and Bill for shooting the motor and trans orange last night. Frame is blasted and ready for powder. I will have it back tomorrow night. If I get the chrome and polish back by the end of the week I am money.
