just curious what is the purpose of this?

For me the biggest advantage would be closing the doors easily with the vents and windows shut. My doors close super easy with just a vent window open, but when they're all closed it's so air tight it's hard to get the doors shut without slamming them.

I’m very big on organizing and labeling “everything”. I learned long ago, if you can’t find it when you need it you might as well throw it away - because you’ll just end up having to buy a replacement anyway. And it's really not all the difficult or expensive.

Short Answer:
Air vents, flow-through ventilation. Vents were from a modern Dodge ram.
Sales Brochure Answer:
A truck cab ventilation system and method which includes an air exhaust at the rear of the cab. An inlet vent in the front of the cab (kick panel vent) produces a positive pressure within the cab which causes flow-through ventilation air flow from the front to the rear of the cab when the truck is moving. . The exhaust vent includes flexible louvers of elastomer which are held by gravity in a closed position and are moved into an open position when air flows out through the exhaust system.

I take it you dont have a/c

Whats wrong with the headlights. If they don't work check the plug that is at the radiator support. If that is clean inside maybe you have a bad highbeam switch. Make a jumper wire to check that one out. Most of the problems with the headlights is the connector at the radiator support.

Re: What did you do to your truck today?

Installed my "CaptainFab Power Steering Adapter Plate" and moved the 64 and 66 outside for shop cleaning/organizing. The PO installed power steering, but the geometry was all wrong. Problem solved! The install was super easy, especially since the steering shaft was already cut down to the proper length and two holes were correct. Drilled two more holes in the correct position and mounted her up. Stitch welding will come when I tear the truck down for a frame off. Early 2011 I will start the process. I want to get the title work done before I do too much to her.

Turned out nice. There are times I wish I had kept mine and had it powder coated gloss black.

Spray bombed the interior (<$10). Much better than the flat black the PO shot on it, it is close to original and good enough for my beater shop truck. :truck:
Didn't do the doors yet since they need fuzzies and glass channel weatherstripping.

So tell me gang, where is the OEM paint cut line at on the doors where it transitions from fawn to the cab color(s)?

Thanks for the info.

Camaro dash will be the same color shown in above photo. Gauge panels will be black, as well as the steering column, seats and console.
